Dear family and friends.
yeah there has been quite a bit of sunshine here and there, Sister Leiss is amazing. we get along really well. she is from germany but has an american accent (its funny when people try to guess where she is from) you say her last name like the bug that gets in peoples hair. I am in the area that covers the mission home and office. it is a very nice area and kinda big. we walk everywhere and take the bus.

About the MTC: 13 of the missionaries went to my mission, the others are going to either alpine germany mission or the athens greece mission. but they are all still in the MTC learning their languages.
well it sounds like you all had weather like what I am having. it is way cold here and wet. Actually yesterday I took a cold shower, not knowing that our boiler stopped working, that was the quickest shower I ever took haha. but today was when we realized that there was no hot water and the heating in the flat is by hot water so it was a bit chilly this morning. I started getting a sore throat two days ago and last night it started getting worse as we were out tracting. And i ended up going to bed with a stuffy nose. I officailly have a cold as of 4 this morning. my voice is all naisally and i have tissues with me all the time. I am really glad that it is Pday so I can sleep. sister Leiss is cool with having a chill nap day pday.
I am adjusting way better to the field then I was to the MTC. I LOVE it. Tracting is my favorite and we find the funnest people. We have found more potentials through tracting then GQing. so thats fun. We have an awesome district. The DL is elder houghton from napa cali and he is such a stuco kid haha picked from a mile away, but he is a blast. we have a few austrailian missionaries and one is in our district, serving in the same ward as us and the APs so its fun to get to interact with all them all the time :)
sister leiss and I are called the Wylde Green sisters and we are also known as sister Rassumssen's assistants haha so I get to help set up for everything that happens. our ward is great, i had to play the rest hymn and closing hymn in sacrement because there is only one lady that can play the piano and she had to run. but I didnt have to speak :).
we have one real investigator right now. his name is jake and he just soaks everything up, we just cant get him to come to church again. he stays up too late saturday night, but we meet with him tomorrow and hopefully wiill get that all straightened out. thanks Ill talk to you next week!!
