So sorry this is short!! We have had lesson after lesson today and the computers will kick us off in like 20 minutes.
This week was great! I studied a lot, especially Alma chapter five. The thing that stuck out to me the most was pride. I would like to think I am not prideful, but I know I am. I prayed to be humble, and, man, did it happen. Tuesday we had coordination and took the train with all the elders and I had a bit of an embarrassing situation. Then with another humbling situation that night and a few more day after day, I felt like a turtle, shrinking more and more into my shell!
Now enough with that part of the week. We went tracting and someone let us in. His name is Tim and we get to see him tomorrow morning. So excited to help him come closer to our Saviour! Also, we had exchanges this week and we found some cool people. One is so ready for the gospel! Her name is Diane. Would you please pray for her??
Sister Banchini told me about a talk called "Wilt thou be made Whole," from Elder Dyches, who is our area 70 and he is cool. He gave it literally right before Elder Holland gave "Like a Broken Vessel" (October 2013 conference). I studied it and, man, I love the gospel! Faith is such a necessary part of life and of miracles, but so is repentance. And we need the sacrament to help us. I really can't tell you the love I have and the understanding I received with the few minutes I have left, but know that I know the gospel has been restored and that our Heavenly Father is a genius!!
Lots of love,
Sister MacKay
