This week,
Monday we had a dinner appointment with Sister Simmons and she helped us teach Andrew. It went well. She always shares her vision experiences and we always have to talk to our investigators after, but we can't complain. That night, two sisters from Wales came to stay the night and it was fun.
Tuesday, Sister Francis and Sister Crowley went to the mission office for the self-reliance meeting. All the missionaries call it the trunky meeting, because it means you have 5 months left. Crazy! I go next transfer! I had Sister Beazer with me. She is from Canada and we had a blast. We helped at the allotment and it was fun. The other sister's phone died and so we didn't know when they were coming home. When it got close to the time, we were stuck in our flat waiting for like an hour. But oh well. We had fun!!
That's the day I got my package from home and we ate almost all of the candy corn. One thing that Britain can't do well is sweets. Their chocolate is good but their sweets are rubbish! So it was nice to get some American sweets. Thanks!
Wednesday we had lesson after lesson and found an awesome lady. She was perfect. Sunday when we called to see if she was coming to church she said she checked the website and isn't really interested since we pay tithing. We will try to teach her this week. That is the only thing that stops her from coming.
Helped Sister Buoso a lot this week. Her baby was sick and so she had to take work off for the week and her husband had to go to London for uni. She needed help. She loves us. I love her family. She fed us so much this weekend. One night she made this delicious rice and I ate it. After, my stomach was so mad at me! You can say I am still allergic to rice..... I'm not happy with that.
But Andrew. He is doing better and better, but he isn't ready for baptism this Saturday, so we have pushed him back. So I'm a bit sad because the feeling I get is that I will be moved to the other side of the mission. So that means not really being able to come back for his baptism. :/. But we had another baptism we are putting on this Saturday, so that's cool.
With everything I study, getting to know God just keeps standing out to me more and more, and since that is what Andrew needs, it's so cool. I feel like I am able to get to know my Heavenly Father on a more personal level now. Such a good blessing.
But we've got to go get our shopping. Love you!!
