Hey Everyone!!
Sounds like this week was a great one!! Glad Craig is doing better and I will continue to pray for him and everyone else like usual. It sounds like you really are training the girls how to cook!!
This week was a blast.
Monday- we had an FHE with Jake at the Fishers, and that is where the pictures came from haha.
Tuesday- we were with Sister Rasmussen all day. We helped with the mission Leadership Council and that took all morning and afternoon and then we ran to Jose's for dinner and a quick lesson and then we went back to President's house to finish the mission blog. I think it is called England Birmingham Mission adventures. But I'm not sure. We always have a blast when we are with Sister Ras. She gets laughing so uncontrollably every time and we just die too!! She is my kinda person. She deals with all the medical stuff and when people text her she tells us that all she wants to say to them is to man up and get out of their flat and work. Hahaha she doesn't have much sympathy for the missionaries that aren't really that sick.
Wednesday-we went finding... no potentials (you will find that is a pattern). Then we helped in the office a bit. Then had a lesson with a recent convert. And then had a dinner appointment with a part member family. Sister Sharp is sooo funny. We absolutely love her!! So excited to start having more dinners with them!!
Thursday- we had zone meeting. It was alright. Our Zone leaders are all about getting "stacked" and working out. So everything was compared to that (there was definitely an eye roll in there). But after we went to have a king's day celebration with our spanish investigator. We had cake and she gave us little note books. They were so cute. Then her friend from Cuba came over and their sons went upstairs and so it was a great chance to talk to Noelia without her 3 year old son interrupting. But it made me a little sad that I didn't pay more attention in Spanish class in high school. So kids! Do your school work!! Even if its hard!!!
Friday- We did weekly planning all day and didn't make much progress. It was rough. Had a DA with the Fishers again :)
Sat- We finished weekly planning!! All the wind and weather is coming over from New york and so it has been really windy lately. On Saturday as we were walking back from the church for a lesson with Jake, we stopped and sat on the bench where we could see the hills and the trees and all the beauty around us and enjoyed the weather. We don't get to do that much but it was really nice, a little warm and windy. But going back to Jake. We taught him outside the chapel. There was no one there at that time. But President drove up and told us to teach him in his office... and you can't argue with President even if you try haha. So we did. It went well. Jake was set on going to church, but still didn't show up.
Sunday- we had no investigators there. A member brought a friend that is German and he wants us to teach him so we were so excited!! Sister Leiss has always wanted to teach a German person and now has the chance!!
But besides that its all the same old thing. Always finding and not seeing any results yet. This week we are going to make finding a priority and hopefully we will see some results!!
Love you all!! Remember the Church is true and the end goal really is the most important thing out there!!
