Monday and Tuesday we worked and slept. Tuesday we had a really cool experience. We were walking home after meeting with someone and this guy stopped us. I was a bit weary to talk to him, but he said his name was Joni - he was a recent convert we hadn't been able to see yet. He had his friend with him and we had a lesson right then and there. That same day we got to see Judy. Judy is originally from Poland and she is amazing. She wanted to meet twice. She uses us for help with small things and then loves to hear the gospel. We call her everyday!! and meet with her most days!!
Wednesday- went into Nottingham for the doctors appointment. I sent mom the update, but I am anemic, so we can fix that!!
Thursday- we had district meeting and it was awesome!! At the end we were taking a district picture when I got a call asking me to train a new missionary. So I get to go to a meeting at the office tomorrow. It sounds like it will be a huge group!! Yay for big groups :) We were out all day - got some bike accessories and had a dinner appointment out in the middle of nowhere. I was stupid and still biked it all haha.
Friday I needed to sleep a lot, plus we had flat inspections. The first time is always the hardest, but once you figure out what the inspectors look for, the next time is easy!! We did some service on Friday for a cute old couple. Her immune system is killing her off, so she needs all the help she can get. Plus they fed us and man, I love vegetables!! And they eat so many of them here!! :)
Saturday- actually this is when we had flat inspections, but we had a dinner appointment that was fun. This family reminds me of the Eppersons. We then went to the Christmas market with the elders and some recent converts!! It was so much fun!! I got one of those Russian dolls that has a few more inside her :) and then a really cool watch!! I will send what pictures I can :) But it was so much fun!!
Sunday-We helped out in nursery and taught YWs. It was about missionary work and they were falling asleep, so we spiced it up a bit. We taught them about prayer and why we always ask people to pray and how prayers can really be answered. We said a prayer with them - made them get on their knees. After that, and reading a story about Elder Ricciardi (a cool mission story I will share with you when I get home), they were interested - well, more than before. It was cool!!!
Today we are going to the Cathedral and the Castle!! Pictures will come next week!!
But I love you all!! Thanks for all you do and all your prayers. I can feel them, especially when I bike.
