Dad sent me a picture of Grandpa MacKay, also a short little video. I love that man!! Haha, so cute. (Grandpa MacKay has been in a rehab hospital due to a fall where he injured his shoulder and hip. He isn't supposed to be on his feet, but he insisted on getting up and rearranging the bed when Craig and Randy were there). You have to know that he would be stubborn. It's Grandpa, and the bed needs to be made a certain way! I remember. We had plenty of sleepovers at his house to know :) I love being able to hear that the family is so helpful. Eternity will be awesome, and we can tell because of how we are acting now. It's a real testimony builder for me. So thanks everyone!! Send Grandpa and Grandma and Brenda my love and every aunt and uncle you see! Give them a huge hug!! Hugs make a difference! Also, can we go to Macayo's when I get home? I'm craving some good Mexican :) (I told her how we had gone there on Saturday night with a large group of family).
Oh, it's making me a bit sad knowing that Craig will be gone. I got such a cute email from him. He said he can't wait to go because it means he will get to see me sooner, haha. I just love family!!
So this week.....
We worked and worked and worked - had lesson after lesson. When lessons didn't show up, we found people. I don't know exactly how to describe the week in better terms.
Andrew is progressing. The Cravens came with us on Saturday to teach him. He felt very moved by the Primary Program in our ward. It was cute. He says he doesn't feel much, so that was really good for him to be moved by something. So we will see. Church was great!!
There is a family that Sister Stone and I found, like 4 months ago. We got a return appointment, but they weren't home, which they warned us of. It was like tender mercy after tender mercy of things that only would have happened if I was still here.
Had zone meeting and it was great, about family history and using it in finding. So we are excited to get to know how to do family history better. Also I have to get a flu shot soon. I think I am going to wait until I am better..... Hahaha don't want to be out for weeks, just a few days. (She has been sick this past week).
Wednesday, we had a cool experience. A lesson didn't show so we were going to stop by one less active, but then seeing a bus reminded me of Sai and Ofa, so we went by and they were home!! That was cool!! We got a return appointment, but they had to cancel the day of, because she got a job interview!! So that's all right. Just bummed that they weren't able to make it to church. We will make sure we see them this week.
This week has just been awesome. I know I gave it my all, maybe a bit too much of my all with all my health. But you learn from your mistakes. I love the work and I love my mission! So grateful to be able to come and to serve Heavenly Father!!
It was beautiful Autumn weather this week. Had to take some pictures with the trees and scenery. But I want you all to know that this church really does have the fullness of the gospel and that it is only through the ordinances which are vital parts of the gospel that we can make it back to our Heavenly Father.
Love ya!!
