It was good to hear from you. Thanks for the update on everyone.
This past week was good. We had transfers and I am staying in Wylde Green. There are obviously things I need to learn and do in this area still. Its been a reflective week - all about improving and bettering myself. lt can be a bit rough. The mission really shows you your worst qualities and makes you work on them until you have improved. Once you have improved some, they show up again and again until you crack and then you have to work on them even more. Its a bit of a painful process.
Monday- We had a FHE at the Hamiltons with Jake and it went really well. He is really getting used to the "Mormon ways."
Tuesday- We went by June, a less active, and then helped Sister Rasmussen cook all the food for the 30 missionaries going home the next morning. We started helping her at 1 and finished at 9. It was a long hard day. When she took us home, she said "Go in, say your prayers and go to bed." We said, "Yes Ma'am."
Wednesday- We had to be up early and at the church before 9. It was cold. but it was good. I saw a lot of old friends and had fun. Transfers had always been the same until last transfers, when I did most of it by myself. It was really different with a new companion.
Thursday- We had district meeting and it went well. New goals to achieve and work towards and its fun!!
Friday- We tried to reach our goals and did well. We didn't reach them but found a few people. It should really help our area. We visited Jose and she said she will teach me how to make fish and chips this week. I'm excited!!
Saturday- We weeded June's garden. It was fun to wear normal clothes. We had dinner at the Fishers and then tried by a few people. No luck, but we had a good lesson with Jake. He was stopped on the street by some guy talking about religion. The guy asked if he was religious and Jake said, "Yeah, I'm Mormon." haha. He still isn't baptized but we will get him there soon.
Sunday- We did all our planning so that was good. Lisa Robertson gave us big chocolate Easter eggs. It was sweet of her!!
Love you all!
