Monday- we had an FHE at the Hamiltons with Jake. It went great!
Tuesday-Jake had his second baptismal interview, He passed the first but its been 7 or 8 week since his 1st so we do it again! But he passed again! I got my valentines package. Did you know the man know made Ferrero Roche also made Nutella and Kinder Chocolate! and those are my 3 favorite things ever! But someone said he died this past week... that's sad. We had pancakes at Jose's with her granddaughter and 2 great granddaughters. (English pancakes are really Swedish pancakes) They were good.
Wednesday- We had zone conference. It was a long day, but it was a lot better than the previous Zone Conference. We didn't have time to do any of our studies because we had a song practice that morning, and then it all started. We learned a lot and I'm excited to use it in our work! It was all about being effective and using our time wisely. That doesn't mean we need to run faster but use our time better, have more meaningful conversations with people, bring up the gospel any chance we get and plan well, so we have all the time we need to do our work. It was great. At lunch we had Subway and Sister Rasmussen's fruit salad and green salad. I love her food, and I know how to make it since I help her all the time... :) Did I say I love serving by the mission office?? I really do. That took up the whole day since we cleaned up (Wylde Green sister jobs hahaha got to love them) and then we got to go home and do our studies!!
Thursday- We went by Sue. We hadn't been able to get a hold of her for about a week and were worried. She got sick and turned off her phone for all those days. I worried for nothing. But it was good, it shows I love her :) Then we had dinner at the Fishers and they invited Jake for dinner and we had a lesson at their house right after. It was brilliant, except he told us his parents couldn't make his baptism so that should happen this Friday now. He has grown so much, he really acts like a member now.
Friday- we went by a potential named Isabelle. She is crazy. We love her. She said she could only talk for 5 minutes and we ended up at her place for 1 hr!. She ended up showing us her house and giving us souvenirs (pearl handled knives, a bracelet, and an apple each haha). She talks so much that in that hour we weren't even able to bring up the gospel and turn it into a lesson. Oh well next time :) We then went to Sutton and tried by Noelia and she was on her way to the library so we walked and talked with her. It was good - she is hoping to have us over soon, She was so busy the past 2 weeks. As we were walking with her we ran into Sister Rasmussen. She was on the phone and we weren't done with Noelia yet, but we were able to meet up with her a bit later. She was shopping and bought us a drink and a treat from Marks & Spencer's and it was fun chatting with her. She got sick with all the meetings this past week, but she is doing better. We were able to carry her groceries for her and then she gave us a ride. It was a blessing!
Saturday- We met Jake and taught the 10 commandments again! He has a habit of saying oh my.... (you can fill in the rest), and so we taught it again and straight up said you don't say " oh my.... " so that we don't take the Lord's name in vain. Somehow it didn't click in his mind haha. But we went into Castle Vale and found a potential. There has been a drought in our area of potentials so we were excited. She says we won't change her mind, but she wants her kids to believe in something so they have a happier life than she had. So this week we will meet up with her and her 10 year old daughter!! We had dinner at Jose's and she feeds us so much, but about a month ago we found out that she doesn't expect us to eat it all, so I have been able to keep my weight and even lose some. They eat so well so its a bit hard especially with all the amazing chocolate here. Don't get me started on that haha
Sunday- We had church. We didn't have a dinner appointment so we had our own plans, but the Fells invited us over. It was pouring so we had to stay inside for a bit. We tried by some people in their neighborhood, but no luck. But then we went by George and Audrey. We were asking Audrey some questions about her church and I was curious about how she got involved there. It ended up that she started going when the Mormons started coming around, hoping that we would leave her alone when she joined another faith. It was kinda sad to hear that, but we still keep coming. We just don't force our religion down her throat like previous ones have. She isn't willing to give up tea. I think it is the main reason she hasn't wanted to join, but whatever.
Its been a good week though. I've learned a lot and seen the Lord's hand in my life and I can see how he is shaping me in small ways. I love being able to serve and cherish the time I have here!!
Love you all

PS Sister Sorensen and I ended up matching Monday and Tuesday, so here is a picture of us on Tuesday. Our district leader Elder Bies took them.
