So, this week was really cool. It flew by, like most weeks. I feel like I blink and its Monday again.
We tried white board finding this week. Just so you don't have to ask what that is, it's where we write a question on a white board in town and get people to write responses. We found a lot of people.
We had a lot of dinner appointments, a lot of stop bys, a lot of less active work, lessons, tracting, biking, Harry Potter books (haha I'll explain more later).
We had some really cool lessons. Two Vickys.... One on Tuesday and she is so prepared, but she is so busy. So the next time we will get to meet with her will be on Tuesday next week. She has a friend in Ireland that's a member and he is helping from that side. It helps a lot. The Spirit was so strong and she said she wants to do this for herself. So cool!! The other Vicky was last night. She is a former that the zone leaders found in Cheltenham. That went really good but the Spirit said we need to make sure we go earlier in the day, or as early as we can. It's a sketchy area, but cool experience where we felt the Spirit and acted on it.
Had a lot of less active lessons go well. It's really cool when you can feel Heavenly Father's love for them and you love them too. One with Sister Patel.... She is a spiritual giant. Sister Jian and I were in tears more than once during that lesson. She was talking about memories in the gospel. We can just tell that the ward needs her just as much as she needs the ward. She needs the gospel active in her life. Oh, we had another lesson with Gwen, and she found charity shop copies of Harry Potter to add to my collection. Now I have books 2, 3, 4, & 6 and "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." Just need three more til I have the whole set haha. But I'm not reading them. They are siting in my suitcase. I was telling Sister Jian about the stories and it got me thinking, about Sister Panel's son who is less active. He had his Harry Potter book out. It's amazing how just being ourselves helps us connect to people and help them.
So the rugby World Cup is happening!! It's crazy! Gloucester is a host city - it's crazy. Not too many people want to listen while a game is on, but it's fun.
Sunday we had a lot going on in the ward - a farewell and a baptism. So we were at the church for most of the day. I got to have a heart to heart with Sister Wales (RS president). The Spirit was there and it's amazing. I cried a lot. I just love this ward and the people here. I really don't want to leave. I could stay longer and be happy. So pray that if I can, I will. A lot of members are sad to think I could leave in a week. It's nice to know the ward loves and values me. I can definitely say I left the area better than I found it, if I do leave. I have just had an overwhelming love for the area and the people. Just random moments when we are biking, I look at the scenery around me and I just love it. I look stupid because I have such a big grin on my face.
This work is amazing. It's the Lord's work and I know He guides us if we allow him.
Love you all!!
