That's what happens when you are leaving. But so much fun. No tears this time, so I am at peace with it!
Here's my week....
Tuesday we went to a neighborhood for some appointments. That cancelled but we enjoyed our time in the cold. Tracting is good bonding time with companions, haha. Popped into town to grab a quick lunch. A yummy roast pork roll. It's so good haha. Went charity shop finding in that hour and found a genuine leather coat for 1 pound!! I was so happy!! We had dinner with President and Sister Gardner. They are in the mission presidency and as he took us and the elders back, we had a deep doctrine conversation about the second coming. It was awesome!!
Wednesday we taught Elizabeth, an investigator. At some point my name became Sister Vicky. I have no idea where she got that, but cool, I'll go with it. As we were teaching her, she stopped us. She wanted to sing a song. Another point she just got up and put her beanie on. Another time she got really furious about her mother, saying she might want to do physical harm to her, but as we reminded her that Heavenly Father loves her. It really calmed her down. It was a miracle.

We also helped with the Poppy Appeal. If you don't know what it is, search it. It will tell you. Great fun. (Wearing poppies and sharing pictures on social media to support veterans and current soldiers).
Thursday we had the longest district meeting ever. 3 hours haha, but it was really good. I gave some training on charity. Shared some revelation I got a few weeks ago about how we need to love our neighbors as ourselves and so we need to make sure we love ourselves and see ourselves as Heavenly Father sees us. No wonder Elder Uchtdorf gives so many talks that help us in that aspect.

That evening after teaching Andrew, we had dinner with the Hathaways and they took us to see fireworks and a bonfire for Bonfire Night. It's a national holiday. It was the first night out of the MTC for me, last year. Haha much better experience this year.
Friday we helped Sister Maughan at her house with the elders. Crazy fun times. We then helped Sister Beasor at her house. We worked more on the room I first started on before (painting). We made such a big difference this time!!

Then we did some white board finding, it was fun and it rained a lot. I was asked on a date by an old guy.., said no haha I don't drink coffee haha. But found two really cool kids!! So excited to see how they progress!! Then we had dinner with the Cravens. I told her what Craig sent me and it made her cry to know that her son has helped my brother have a bit of an easier time in the MTC. So cool so see Heavenly Father's hand in our lives. Sister Craven has made a huge difference in my life, her son Mitchell mentioned that I made a difference in his mission prep and now he has made a difference in Craig's mission. So cool!!
Saturday we tracted in the rain and got some things for the baptism. Got soaked haha. We had lunch with the Kears. I love this family. Going to keep in contact with them. You can say little George is my favourite baby on the mission. Then we put on the baptism. This was a political one. Zone leaders were teaching her, she lived in our area, stake president insisted she get baptised in our ward.... So we put it on. Never got a picture with her at the baptism. But in the end it counted as our baptism haha! I played the piano. Had fun with that :) After that we went home and did some weekly planning. I was so tired after everything was said and done. Ready for bed!!
Sunday.... Elizabeth wanted to come... We didn't actually invite her but she insisted. She caught the bus before we got there so Bishop called when she got there and said "a Sister Whitehorse is here. She says she knows you??" Haha Sister Francis had complimented her on her singing on Wednesday. As I sat next to her this week, I couldn't even sing because I was laughing so hard at the exaggeration Sister Francis had made. I was crying because I was laughing so hard. It was so unexpected. Church was entertaining. And she only stayed for the sacrament haha. I got lots of pictures.
Today we had lunch with Sister Garland. Then stopped by to see Isi. We were finally able to get back in contact with her. I got the recipe for Fijian pancakes :) and got to teach her and set up a few return appointments. It was such a great lesson. So cool to see the work I was able to do in this area.
It was such an awesome day. This week has really helped my testimony grow. Heavenly Father provides a way for everything to happen. I love the Mormon message "You Never Know." (https://www.lds.org/media-library/video/2014-00-008-you-never-know?category=mormon-messages%2Fmormon-messages-2014&lang=eng&cid=HPFR091914425). Lately I have been praying to get everything done that Heavenly Father wants us to do. I feel as if it is happening. The gospel is true. Sorry for such a long email! Hope you love the pictures!!
